The pay range for this position is $19.00 to 19.40.

A typical day will include :

Providing culturally appropriate direct support to individuals using person-centered approaches and strategies including :

• Ensuring completion of work tasks as required by the employer and / or established procedures
• Providing on-going training to clients throughout the workday as needed
• Ensure quality and quantity of all work completed meets expectations
• Communicating effectively and professionally with employer and other employees at the work site
• Demonstrating appropriate work behaviors at all times
• Completion of electronic documentation prior to end of shifts

What you’ll need to be successful :

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Valid CA Driver’s License with clean driving record
• Immediate access to vehicle with working seatbelts to transport participants
• Comfort driving a full size van with multiple passengers
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and move up to 75 lbs
• High comfort in using multiple computer / mobile device programs
• Ability to translate employer needs to individuals with disabilities
• Willingness to adhere to dress and appearance standards

We’d love it if you :

• Had 6 or more months of prior hands-on experience with persons with intellectual or developmental disabilities
• Are multi-lingual (English, Spanish, Tagalog)
• Have experience with electronic case management systems (Therap)
• Have experience with individual service plans (goal development)
